The mission of the John Dewey Learning Academy is to provide an authentic, nurturing, and academically challenging learning environment for high school level students that is connected to the world outside of school, is meaningful for students, and promotes their positive sense of community and enthusiasm for learning.

Founded in 1998, the John Dewey Learning Academy has offered an alternative educational experience that leads to a high school diploma.

In each of our nine years of service to the community, we have grown in size and enhanced our curriculum. We offer our students a personalized environment for learning while utilizing modern teaching techniques and enhancing the experience through the use of up to date computer technologies.
